Cactus Garden

Now I know cactus are supposed to be easy to care for... but I even have trouble with them... these guys however will be a snap to take care of!

I still need to make up some flowers for a few of them but you get the idea!  They also make great pin cushions.

Happy Thursday!

Baby Ballet Slippers

Here are three new items listed in my etsy shop.  Baby Ballet Slippers.  They are just so adorable I am pleased with how these came out.

Each is handmade with love and attention to detail.  Perfect for a baby shower gift, and perfect for that adorable baby photo shoot.

These are the three available, but you can always request a custom pair in my shop.  Link is to the right!

Hooked...

I just created a page using a sketch from the My Scraps and More Blog.
This is the sketch I chose from December 20, 2013.

I used a picture from my summer mission to Alaska and paired it with Jillibean soups line Cold Avacado soup, added some hand crafted fish hooks and.... this is what I came up with.

And just in case you weren't sure that is me all 5'4" of me standing next to the biggest fish I've ever seen.  I'd say our day of fishing was quite a success.  Everything may be bigger in Texas but it's biggest in Alaska!

Baby Ballet!

When I saw the pattern online for these adorable ballet baby slippers (twogirlspatterns.etsy.com) I just knew that I would be making them.  I just wish I had a little girl to put them on and see what they look like on.  They came together so quickly, and the pattern was super easy to follow.

Here is an up close of the little flower and leaves.  I'm going to make up a couple more pairs of these for a craft show in all kinds of crazy cute colors.

Pachyderm Parade!

My latest crochet project is these sweet little elephants.... I made them for three of my favorite littles.

Pink there got sort of a bum ear.. but it adds personality.  And these came together so quick... and use just a little yarn.

Present sides... and I used this pattern here...Percy The Elephant
